THE SHORT ANSWER
Customer analytics connects satisfaction measures, recommendation scores, customer language, and operational context to a defined business question. On Beat Digital provides CSAT key driver analysis, NPS loyalty matrices, neural-network analysis, principal components analysis, logistic regression, and statistical comparisons.
A satisfaction score describes an outcome. A useful analysis investigates what differs between groups, which factors relate to that outcome, how stable the relationship is, and which action the business can evaluate next.
Relevant experience
Our historical analytics practice includes channel-specific CSAT key driver studies, NPS customer profiling, neural-network analysis of CSAT factors, principal components work involving agent characteristics, QBR association and regression studies, and location comparisons using tests of proportions. These are distinct analytical capabilities rather than a single universal model.
Define the outcome and the comparison
We begin with the survey instrument, response population, time period, and decision. CSAT commonly measures satisfaction with an interaction or experience; NPS concerns willingness to recommend. Neither should be treated as an interchangeable measure of observed customer retention or completed purchases.
The analysis needs the response scale, scoring rules, missing-data handling, and relevant operational context. A channel comparison may require attention to contact reasons, response coverage, and the customers each channel serves. Without those definitions, a difference in a dashboard can be mistaken for an operational explanation.
Identify CSAT drivers by channel
Our CSAT key driver work investigates factors associated with satisfaction for each channel. The input can combine survey items, interaction characteristics, operational measures, and text-derived topics where the records can be linked appropriately. We examine whether a relationship is consistent or depends on the population being studied.
A driver analysis should explain the relative influence or association estimated by its chosen method, along with the data and assumptions behind it. A ranked list alone is not an intervention plan. We help translate the findings into specific hypotheses and operational changes that can be evaluated.
Build an NPS loyalty matrix and customer profiles
An NPS loyalty matrix organizes recommendation groups alongside other relevant customer characteristics or measures. The axes are defined for the business question: stated recommendation, satisfaction, observed behavior, or another available dimension. The matrix should not silently label someone behaviorally loyal from a survey response alone.
Our historical work assessed and profiled loyal-customer groups. A useful profile explains which characteristics distinguish a segment, how many observations support it, and what the business might investigate or do differently. Segment definitions and reporting windows remain visible so future comparisons use compatible populations.
Apply neural networks and principal components deliberately
Neural-network analysis can investigate nonlinear patterns among factors related to CSAT. We define the outcome, evaluate the available sample, compare performance with a suitable baseline, and inspect how results behave on held-out observations. A model is useful when its findings support a decision and its limitations are understood.
Principal components analysis addresses a different task: reducing a set of correlated variables into a smaller set of components. Our CSAT and NPS work used this kind of analysis to explore agent characteristics. Components describe variation in the measured data; they do not independently prove that an agent characteristic causes a satisfaction outcome.
Test associations, differences, and location effects
Our QBR analysis included tests of association, group comparisons, and logistic regression. Method selection follows the response being modeled and the structure of the observations. For a defined binary outcome, logistic regression can estimate conditional relationships while accounting for selected explanatory variables.
Historical location-impact work used a test of proportions to evaluate differences in CSAT outcomes. We make the numerator, denominator, group sizes, and comparison clear. Statistical significance, estimated effect size, uncertainty, and operational relevance should be considered together, especially when many groups or repeated comparisons are involved.
Connect findings to quarterly decisions and validation
A QBR should explain what the analysis changes about a decision. We connect results to customer groups, channels, product or service issues, and the operational measures needed to assess a response. Text analytics can add explanations from open-ended comments alongside quantitative satisfaction or recommendation measures.
Deliverables can include a method summary, validated analysis tables, customer profiles, a model evaluation, and an executive findings brief. We separate a model output from a business recommendation and a realized outcome. Our historical predictive-analytics materials also reference RapidMiner and Tableau. For a new engagement, the tools follow the data, analytical method, and handoff requirements.

Questions & answers
Can you analyze CSAT separately for different channels?
Yes. Our historical work includes channel-specific CSAT key driver analysis. We define the populations and investigate whether channel mix, contact reasons, or other available context affect the comparison.
What does an NPS loyalty matrix show?
It compares defined customer groups across recommendation and another relevant dimension. Its meaning depends on the axes and data; a recommendation score alone does not establish observed loyalty.
Do principal components identify causal drivers?
Not on their own. PCA reduces and describes variation among correlated measurements. Causal conclusions require an appropriate study design and additional evidence.
Can you evaluate whether location affects CSAT?
We can test differences between defined groups, including proportion comparisons where appropriate. We report sample sizes, estimated differences, and relevant context rather than infer a causal location effect from one comparison.
